I am a bit confused by it all. We did the same prep and internet publicity as Aerobilia 1. The replies to the internet forum postings were not as good as A1. I popped a listing on Ebay which was up for 10 days. The second one was pulled after only 2 days and I was ‘spanked’ by Ebay!
We were trying to keep costs down to the stall holders (£16 which included 2 passes which is £1 off the price of admission for 2).
Goodwood Revival was on and that did have an effect.
As Andy has said before – use these events or lose them! There were some amazing bargains to be had.
We will be back next year – not sure when though – not sure when best time is, anymore!
Thankyou to all stall holders and punters who came. I can see that more advertising will be needed. Also the support of the aviation heritage scene!!! Just need to strike a balance between cost to stall holder/punter and to make it worthwhile.
