Andy and I were there today…..we were id’ing stuff. In a washing up bowl of unidentified finds, I found a lovely Folland Aircraft plate from the fuz. It looked like just a bit of dirty bent metal skin until I saw word ‘serial’.

Very nice phots indeed! We were up on the Cliff by the Red Arrows memorial.

What an amazing man and a real giant in aviation. At the Martlesham Heath Open Day a couple of years back, he and Little Nell were next to us….a lovely chap and so nice to chat to. A real hero.
