    I flew from Henlow in Ventures… The Tower in the middle of the field is historic in it’s own right having been built from Hurricane packing cases.

    Me… I chose this “tag” as it is something I’ve done as a hobby for over 15 years now. Started by accident as it were at Sywell back in 1980something and not stopped since.
    I use a derevation of it on several forums. and the Avatar is me albeit blown up a bit at “work” at Turweston a year or two ago. There is a reason why orange but I won’t bore you anymore.

    A belgian one flew into PFA at Wroughton in the early 90’s… Well more like it was flown onto! It was litterally a straight in approach on the hill… Very impressive.

    Just looked at HUPW pages… What an excuisite job. Utterly marvelous and to think we’ll not see most of the completed work… Fantastic job. Can’t have enough Hurricanes…

    I agree with everyone’s comments… A really nice bloke and have met him a couple of times whilst “working” and always says a thank you or the like. top man (even if I did stand slightly too far over and made it difficult to see me fully)

    Dave they “flying” aircraft in the crash IS a He-111/CASA 3-111 but the actual wreckage that ultimately blows up is a single engined tandem cockpit type…
