It must be an F-111 thing. The one on a pole at Lakenheath has also discoloured canopy glazing.

The jaw bone was deemed to have been brought in when soil was deposited on site following some event and was thought to date from 1800’s IIRC and the jaw plus other bones came from at least two different people.
The cat skeleton (Fluffy) was different!

What I want to know is why is it always the public that get hit and penalised?
Businesses are just as bad are they not? How much more can we take as a country. Soon I think I’ll be working just to pay the tax so I can live!!
So what do we do? I like the fact that fuel will be hit in the proposed bill forcing us onto public transport. What bleeding public transport? I live in a village and I’ve seen the bus stops but I’ve never seen a bus!

I think (and I speak from experience) that the Visiting Forces in this country could do a lot more to help this country. The waste they generate… The energy they waste too…

    Martin,
Your best bet is to get in touch with DHMC.

Thank you gentlemen for sharing these shots. Some real treats for the likes of me who were not around to enjoy steam.

I like the fact I am virtually hidden in that group shot… 😀

I’d also like to than Ron Gammons for flying some of our folks in his Leopard Moth G-ACUS. It was a rare and unexpected treat for those that manged to get up. Many thanks.

I have to admit the thought of her being preserved as is would be different as she has become historic in her own way as she is now.

I don’t know about the others but I most certainly would love to see more.

Yes PL – the Gressley one off was 60700. Somewhere at M&D’s there are some copies of prints of some steam and the W1 (IIRC) is in there. I will see what I can borrow.

Pete 70048 was shedded at Willesden 1A as at October 1963.
