Transporter 2 Quite a good follow up to the first film. Nicely watchable. Jason Statham once again pulls it off. As for the female gun-“man” an interesting wardrobe!

Mrs Henderson Presents A lovely film. Really enjoyed this and the performances of Bob Hoskins and Dame Judy Dench were very good. Only slight gripe from me is the continuity with the starting of the Tiger Moth… but that is REALLY pedantic of me.

Virtual Sexuality A tame little British film from the 1990’s. Has some good moments although to some it will be “dire” but to others watchable.

Scooby Doo 2 Quite good. Loved seeing the characters “Miner 69” and the deep sea diver one.

I don’t think its a recent trend for Hollywood to remake films they’ve been doing it for years Three men and a baby,the vanishing and nikita all remade from European cinema and mostly altered to fit he American tastes of happy endings hero wins formula.

The Ring was a remake of a Japanese film…

The latest film “Sahara” was not a remake of the 1943 film.
Cussler’s book dates from at least 30 years later and that is what the book was based on.

I’m with holty – CC is a damn good author.

My thoughts too are with his wife and children as well as his friends.
Lets hope he makes a full recovery.

Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels – I watched the directors cut version.
What a cool film. Watched it for the first time last night and really enjoyed it. I liked the old style of implied violence where you get the sound and reaction and it is not in your face. Not six tonnes of the red stuff everywhere either.

The Italian Job – not a true remake but I thought it wasn’t too bad personally. I watched with an open mind and found I liked it.

The LadyKillers – I’ve not seen the Tom Hanks version and have been told best that I keep it that way.

Last film I saw: “The Dukes of Hazzard”
Hummm. Did nothing for me I must say. some of hte car stuff was good but overall I prefer the TV series. I’m not convinced that the casting of Bo and Luke was right. Nor Roscoe either. Thought Linda Carter looked good though.
