    Barclaycard

I cancelled my card in April last year after 25 odd years with them (had my card cloned and an agent in their overseas call center lied to me about it) , then ten months later they accepted a £70 charge to the card from their own ID protection scheme and billed me. I phoned and they said I had to write, I wrote and they ignored me, billed me again with £13 interest. I phoned again, they said I had to write, I wrote with a cheque for full settlement under protest to protect my credit history. They ignored it, and billed me again with another 30 pence fee.

I sent it to the Financial Ombudsmen and also wrote again, on Thursday they said they would refund the interest charged and the 30p, today after hearing from the Ombudsmen, they said they will refund it all.

Last slight problem, they have credited the money to my account, which is closed…. :eek:but at least I have a letter that says they will refund it…. one up for the little people I say !

    The book I love…

it does get too detailed at times as he crams in too many elements of the history (gun cameras, wooden target mock ups etc) but its a classic and has been copied a few times as well.

I’ve owned a few copies over the years and I can pick it up and dive in, the TV series not so for me. Casting was very good, but they lost too much in focusing on the “shock” elements IMO.

Oh well it seems that the council have failed to provide a proper site in the region so it is not surprising that this has happened.

‘Fraid not, they built them a nice site just off the motorway, power hook ups, plumbing etc and it was trashed and “went against the free spirit”. “free” being the appropriate word, given that a fee was charged to pitch there…… so its all boarded up now and oddly enough, they put earth works across the entrance to stop them getting back in when they wouldn’t use it when it was open…..

    manhunt

    does anybody remember this?

Amazon “fed” it to me having looked at secret army, Robert Hardy starred, RAF pilot lost in France, joins the local resistance etc etc, I’d not ever heard of it.

You’re saying Flygirl is not too stable??:D

Wouldn’t say a word, Flygirl is only based about 15 miles up the road from here and while the kids don’t have a Rabbit I’m sure she could get her back in someway if I were ever to be so rude. Which I’m not….. much, maybe….
