As recently as Thursday I joined ’12 oclock high’ and feel comfortable scrolling through it all. Mainly WWII but well hooked up.

Same here – not had an in depth look, just mainly joined to be able to e-mail another user.

You Lads are not switched on when it comes to women are you…Women are always right, they’re all beautiful and their bums always look small…NEVER criticize the opposite sex for any reason

When my wife was pregnant with our daughter she asked me at about 7 months if she looked “big”.

    I said “Compared to what?”

It seems that reply demonstrated my lack of sensitivity and understanding of the rigours of being pregnant…. I thought it was funny myself, problem is that 6 years on I’m still paying for it !

That makes no sense at all unless it’s said with an American accent.

Trust me Steve – in our office what with people leaving to “save money” while thousands is spent on new design internal signage etc, we’ll laugh at anything !

    Surely…

At work today, somebody actually said to me “Surely you can’t be serious” which of course opened the door to “I am serious, and don’t call me Shirley”.:D

It would appear that the die cast series comes from Spain, you can see much more of the collection in this link, wonder if it just WWII or if a Vulcan tucked away in the set

    http://www.altaya.es/coleccionable/bombarderos-de-la-segunda-guerra-mundial.html

I’m certain looking that these are the Ixos range, the He-177, FW-200, Blohn&Voss flying boat, all in Ixos at 1/144 and it would make sense to use existing casts etc I’m sure?

who cares either way ! – nice to see rare types and not just B-17, Lancasters etc etc

Looking at these, they could well be the “IXO” range (see http://www.flyingmule.com/range/diecast-model/aircraft/ixo-models-junior/144/ for some images)

I’m a keen collector of diecasts and have a few of theirs. The prices are attractive and the range very diverse (see for yourself) the quality not up to Hobbey Master etc, but not that bad.

This may be worth keeping an eye on. They do such aircraft as a Skua, DO-335, HE-162 etc etc. The models at 1/72 tend to be about £15, the others a bit more.
