these Century Wings models are very very good indeed, nice touches do it for me like making the belly tank on the A-6 fit the stand so you can “Fly it” with the tank in place. Got the F-8,A-6,A-7 & F-14 – am saving up for the SR-71 !

lovely looking aircraft, and (IMHO) shows why (IMHO) Griffon engined Spitfires have low backs, and Merlin high backs, it just seems right that way.

whats not to like!? Looks as if it could be fantastic, as for the “privacy”, at the end of the day its private property, their call I guess.

being totally lacking in hands on knowledge of what it needs to restore such an aircraft (other than time and money) I may be speaking from where I sit – but I thought that the engine was a beast in terms of complexity, the aircraft itself not that “well known” to the non aviation minded, so perhaps not so commercially viable?

Then again, the brochure does just say “needs painting” and “needs restoration” ….:diablo:

I’d love to see and hear a Tempest (MK V or VI) but even harder to restore I think as has been discussed elsewhere on the forum.

Got my first self assessment 9 years ago. Got married in May, company car in July, Son arrived in Nov. Three big changes, I blipped on the radar. Next year, of course I owed them. Took 8 years of self assessments before we were all square. One year (after 6 years on) they took me off, then sent me a letter saying did I owe them?

I asked to go back on, next year they owed me £500 – they took me off yet again.
