    Bland FM radio

I dislike commercial radio generally, its like ITV Sport but without the fun factor, but oh I hate “Bland FM” and the wacky morning crew who spout inane drivel, and talk about Jordan etc as if they people that we should be concerned about…… and the “wacky humour” just play some ******** music, preferably without talking over the start and end of it 😡

Watching a fairly well equiped womens volley ball team pitch up on Porthcawl beach..

Must add the swearing was uttered in a joyful manner, feck, girrrls, feck…

Reminded me of a business trip a few years ago, I was in Breda in Holland and the Dutch under 21 Netball team were staying, and doing some training, there was jogging, lots of jogging…. I fell in love about 18 times before breakfast ! :diablo:

Having my browsing history checked again….

Oi, 007, if you’re going do it, remember to put the tab back to “favourites” and not “history” when you minimise, think that if I was doing anything a) you are leaving so mind your own business, and b) I’d use “In private browsing” and c) you are the one with an e-mail address and whatever set up in “secret” and who started all this off……

What? A digitally restored Nigger as well….???!!

PS – Maybe this is being put out by Peter Jackson’s company….a cheaper option than a re-make in these Chastised (ooops…chastened) times.:D

    Taxi for Mr Saunders….. :diablo:

Nigger stays “undubbed” as well, quite right too.

Yeah, but in many States in America you can drive a car at 16 , so should a 16 year old be able to drive alone ? :p:)

I’d let a 16 year old drive me home I think, I’d be ******* if I’d let a 16 year old sail me around the southern oceans, or even the solent 😮 for that matter Anna. No problems with “spirit” and trying new things etc etc, and yes we bubble wrap our children these days (you should hear the flack I got for giving my 10 year old a swiss army knife to take camping :(!) but there are limits. I see bennyboys argument but as Pagen says, its a tad simplistic.

Is that the excuse that the parents would have used if someone was injured (or worse) in the SAR mission.
I’m sorry but that is just rediculous, brought up on water or not, this shows a hude unresponsibility by the parents.

I agree – I’m not sure the ex-servicemen is a comparison, they are trained, disciplined and assessed carefully, and while this girl may have been on boats all of her life, that doesn’t bypass the growing up process and a 16 year old shouldn’t be at sea alone.

That said, I am of course glad she is safe and well and think the parents should get a large bill for aviation fuel etc!
