ok i’m wrong IRBM.. geez i made a small mistake.
now i’ll be gracias if u tell me the answer me asking for 2 posts.
what missile can be used in the conjunction with with green pine to stop pakistani ballistic missiles.
is green pine gonna play any role or it’ll be a fancy toy?

Then what are the missile IA can use with conjunction with the green pine radars?
afaik a article some days back i saw from BR i think saying there have been israeli post in kashmir and they r working on positioning the radar.
a ICBM from Pakistan will take hardly any time to enter so ABM needs to be in border.
will it be able to defend anything?

Mind educating yourself a little more on what the ABM is designed for !!

Why does everthing have to get twisted into INDIA or INDIA-PAK ?? They are talking about F-22 and ABM and you are talking about the practicallity of ABM in indo pak Conflict ?? How is a ABM system effective in the US going to shoot down incomming pakistani missiles ??

lol ABM are good but saying they can intercept all ICBM’s with 100% accuracy i dont think its the case. they havent matured that too much too i mean they r still one of the highest priorities of developement.

ABM = Anti ballistic missile right?
well then yes in Pak border india is deploying 2 or 3 Elta Green Pine Radars.
India asked US for Arrow 2 and they are silent on that, if they dont gives us Arrow 2 we’ll likely to develope something with the conjunction with the fully fire and forget controllable Green Pine Radar.
we r acquiring Crystal Maze missiles too…isnt it for ABM??
what r the alternatives india can use for ABM with Green pine other than Arrow 2?
US offered us Pac 3 but we turned it down and wanted Arrow 2.

I feel India have done the best thing to go with Glonass for its Millitary GPS along with Gagan for its Civil Gps[for airports indian maps] as they r designing it can be used for millitary.
Now i hope they’ll go for Galilio to get access to Tech too.. as they have signed to go for it on civilian purpose.
    two options in hand.
Glonass so far is the best in terms of security and double standards.
when ur in Glonass, afterall u wont have to hear a phone call asking to vote against venezuela or whatever for the favor of using GPS.

now PAF getting american GPS let them get.
we cant hold our rivals economic or millitary growth forever in this fast changing world.
neither we will beg washington for it.we might tell them diplomatically but IAF shudnt expect such things to happen.
they shud be prepared to take on GPS guided PAF rather than depend on diplomacy and unguided PAF.

afaik ABM is not that effective infrot topol-m and stuffs like those…
if a all out nuke war happens ABM’s can hardly intercept a salvo dozens dozens of topol-m’s going up or say peacekeepers coming from other side.

ABM’s can do the trick in indo-pak border though as it faces IRBM’s rather than ICBM’s… 🙂 not to topol-m or even chinese ICBM’s or even India’s ICBM[doesnt exist as of now] though i’m 90% sure india wont develope ICBM anytime soon. It’ll be IRBM’s.[<6000 kms)

Diwali, Dipavali, Divali or Deepawali, which is also known as ‘the festival of lights’, is the Indian festival that brings a series of festivals with it. One after another we get a chance to celebrate five festivals together. The people of all age groups and classes with equal zeal and enthusiasm celebrate Diwali throughout India. They put on new apparels and participate in the various activities that are related to Diwali celebrations. Diwali falls on the day of ‘Amavasyaa’ usually in the month of October or November.

On this day people light tiny diyas to fill their homes with bright light and create lovely designs all around their home with colorful rangoli art. Diwali is not only a festival of celebrations such as lightings, crackers, social gatherings to exchange greetings and sharing sweets with your loved ones but it is also a festival that is filled with spiritualism and religious activities such as worship of Goddess Lakshmi, worship of Lord Ganesha, worship of Mother Kali, worship of Lord Chitragupta and worship of Govardhan Parvat.

actually its today evening and i’m getting ready to go out with my cousin 😀 goin to be quite lot of fun..lights looks awesome when lighted on every house i swear 😛

Glonass wont be free.. for all I agree.
but Glonass is going to be a very good satellite system IMO after galilio and american GPS.

if u talk bout security point of view Glonass is best as its not shared by many nations.Indias Remote sensing capability is among the top players of world [as stated by many neutral sources including fas.org and stuffs]:) and its way of launching CHEAP sattellites will BOOST Glonass-2 and ultimately 3 hugely and much easily.. 🙂

3 things that will play important role.
    1> cost.
    2> effectiveness.
    3> life expectency.

Galilio wud be GREAT system… i personally like European scientists other then american typical old skool sitting in park and thinking bout anti gravity :P.

sferrin this article isnt bout AMerican GPs being bad its no doubt RIGHT NOW BEST, but thing is the way US is doing things its sending a wrong and hostile messege.
be it millitary developement or foreign policy with double standards.

well i wont go into too much criticism, but one thing i’ve seen among Indian businessmen even EU is the best place to do business…
i have talked with some of my dads friends, they have said business oppurtunities in US is coming down and much down specially with the very weird policy of US govt, which always does everything in its favour…
just look at the current Tata-Corus deal…

EU is goin to prosper a lot if things r done in right way and US will still have advantage but they gotta change their policy, atleast a bit.
talking huge about non-plorifiration and developing Bunker Buster Missiles “tact nukes” in a new way newer warheads etc etc isnt the right messege the world is getting…

but freedom of ppls in US is great.

well sferrin irrespective of me being a fan of american democracy i have to admit US govt this time is going a bit off limits.
US cannot dictate EU by any means with whom to share Galilio or whom not.
its their technology coming from their scientists in their univ oxford/glasgow univ/etc etc etc….this shows the double standards kinda which this govt have showed in many cases not only this.

quite interestingly Russia is playing a quiter game, but a better one not invoving the whole world and doing things slowly.
