both of you are always welcome..
i’m seriously wondering if MKI can match EF provided both have AESA which is under developement and larger composites as newer batch have sertain improvements.

one thing also to note if IAF goes for Rafale Meteor is sure to come , in that case it’ll be interesting Rafale + Meteor combined with MKI + Brahmos….. 😛

    Translated from Astalavista babel fish..

MOSCOW, on 12 October. (ARMS- TASS). After the flights of American servicemen on the Indian destroyers of Russian production Su-30MKI (materials on the theme), British pilots also would want to estimate the possibilities of this destroyer. This opinion expressed the commander of royal VVS of Great Britain marshal Glenn To torpi – experienced pilot, who has approximately 4300 was hour film on the jet aircraft.

In the interview the “Times of India” the marshal expressed the opinion that Su-30MKI – this one of the most contemporary destroyers in the world, and for it appeared the outstanding possibility to try it in the matter.

Commander will rise into air in the course of the joint exercises Of “indra Of dkhanush” in Gvaliore and Agre. In the course of the forthcoming air it is combat British pilots, governing aircraft “tornado” F.3, they will defy with Indian sous E0MKI, MiG-21bis “bison” and MiG-27. Despite the fact that the studies between Indian and British VVS are conducted regularly for a period of decades, air battle – unprecedented event in the history bilateral relations.

Marshal Glenn Torpi expressed the opinion that because of such studies pilots of both countries can learn in each other, be exchanged the appeared ideas and plan further combined actions. British pilots can transmit accumulated experience during conducting of war shooting in Afghanistan and Iraq (itself Glenn Torpi it served at the key positions during conducting of the operations of “foxes in the desert”, “joint protection” and the “freedom of Iraq”) to Indian associates. In turn, British pilots expect to obtain the specific experience in the opposition to the destroyers of Russian production. British military official also resembled about the opinions of the American pilots of destroyers F -15c and F -16, which participated in the Indian- American studies, which to the excellent degree answered about Su-30MKI.

At present the Indian park of fighter aircraft counts a little more than three squadrons Su-30MKI. Indian government required from THE HALLAHS to accelerate license production 140 Su-30MKI in order to support the level of combat efficiency VVS at a sufficient level for providing of national security.

By sum and the central objective of the forthcoming studies must become a maximally possible integration of Indian VVS into control system of military- air forces with conducting of joint international operations in the future. In the course of conducting “indra Of dkhanush” Indian destroyers will be governed by British aircraft To dRLOiU e-3d AWACS. Subsequently Indian servicemen hope to use our own systems for control and monitoring. In the following year is expected the delivery of the first Israeli system El/m-2075 “fal’kon” on the base of military transport aircraft silt “‘md.

After piloting Su-30MKI and return home, Glenn Torpi plans for the comparison to raise into air new Ef-2000 “typhoon”. At present in the arsenal VVS of Great Britain they are 33 ef-2000. Saudi Arabia, which plans to acquire 72 aircraft, became the first foreign customer of destroyer.

i seriously think a upgrade of the MKI with AESA and newer batches having more composites can almost match it with ef…

At least a good question. How far are the infrastructure investments gone to set up the nucleus of an own aviation industry to support the military needs? That is one leg only and is in need of a further one for the none combatant air-assets like Tpts/helos of the PAF and civil-aviation. To be of true value it has to reach a given size to support a sizeable workforce and engineers with constant work. The FC-1 alone is just to small in numbers to fullfill that demand. When the ‘production’ of the FC-1 do start in Pakistan really, its successor have to be revealed to keep such a prcess in motion.
By the way the Indians made that mistake in the 60s, when there was a break in development. Some problems of Tejas are linked to that.

Indian workers were working with some of boeing for Tejas in early nintees… now the thing is that after nuke test they were told to leave the office and no papers were given so they have to start almost from scratch…
I cant find tht page from india defence forum it has a scanned copy of tht page from a book….

so please go ahead and tell me what exactly makes the JF-17 so much better than the IJT in terms of its STRUCTURES !! since you can so emphatically claim that the JF-17 is better than IJT ANYTIME, you must be knowing just why.

i a’m just sayin to chill out.. no using to talk over a 3-4th gen ac when the world is flying 5th and we r way behind.
gotta secure the own door first.
we all know where jf17 is and where LCA is still make it better pur good radar .. integrate better weapons and stuffs.

we dont have time to brag abt the success of our nation, we have lots to do 🙂

stop this guys… 🙂 jf17 all good afterall they r doing something by whatever means required and if it works its all good.
for us we need to make LCA work and inducted first perfectly then talk….i personally feel tht.

jf17 is better than LJT anytime … no need to compare the things which build the aircraft make it simple one is combat and another trainer….

we shud mak our LCA so tht it can take Jf17 in not 1:2 ratio but 1:4 ratio…tht shud be our priority.

very good pc…. but GOD PLS U CUD HAVE POSTED THIS BEFORE..

am2 and core2duo from intel costs almost the same with core2duo having performance 20% better …….amd lost out this time with intel.
7600gt is a VERY GOOD CHOICE u can upgrade to a dx10 card next year it’ll run stuffs just fine…as i’m myself on a 6800u almost same as 7600gt runs stuffs fine.. 🙂

but what display u have? hope its not a mamoth 20.1 inch dell … 7600gt will handle stuffs pretty good 1024 by 768 most games maxed out :).

just google am2 versus core2duo.. am2 is no performance gain proccy from AMd with practically less than 10% performance gains from the older amd’s which i’m using a opteron .. 🙂

what i mean if u were in the market for a budget thing am2 isnt the thing but a venice overclocked at its maxed wud have been better ,… if u sold out quite a little bucks u cud well got a core2duo pc….nonetheless this will run fine 🙂

    congrats on ur purchase.
the harddisk is 7200.9 seagate? or 7200.10 seagate? both r good.. 🙂 but the 7200.10 comes in 320 gb package…
the hdd maybe western digital too very reliable.

China’s two major fighter aircraft manufacturers, Shenyang Aircraft Industry Co. (SAC) and Chengdu Aircraft Industry Co. (CAC), are both working on advanced 4th generation fighter designs that could enter the PLAAF service as early as 2015. While Shenyang has been engaged in a brand new F/A-22-class stealth fighter design known as J-12, Chengdu has been focusing its development effort on an enlarged twin-engine stealth version of its J-10 fighter possibly designated J-13. Both development projects are believed to have benefited from Russian aviation and weapon technologies.

    SHENYANG J-12 PROGRAMME

The Chinese aviation industry began the preliminary research for China’s 4th generation fighter programme in the mid-1990s. In 1998 the U.S. Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) reported that an advanced F/A-22-class twin-engine stealth fighter known as J-12 was under development at Shenyang. Later in 2003 an Internet source photo revealed a fighter mockup for wind tunnel test which may be linked to the J-12 project. As more details of the fighter began to emerge, it was understood that the fighter will also be fitted with an internal weapon bay and possibly active phased array radar.

Considering China’s track record in combat aircraft development, a project like the J-12 may prove challenging. It will involves technology advancement in a number of fields including materials, high-performance aviation engine, electronics, flight control software, and stealth technologies. A project of this scale will also require huge amount of investment and considerable knowledge of complex project and manufacturing management. While China may be able to benefit from some “off-the-shelf” dual-use technologies available in the commercial market, it will almost definitely seek assistance from its traditional military technology suppliers such as Russia and Israel. However, none of these two countries possess the experience of developing an advance fighter of this class.

Russian Sukhoi Company (JSC), which has developed close ties with Shenyang over the licensed co-production of its Su-27SK fighter as J-11, has been reportedly working with Shenyang in developing the next-generation fighter technology and sub-systems. Although Russia has yet been able to develop an operational stealth fighter, the J-12 project may benefit from its technologies in two particular areas: thrust vectoring engine and stealth design. China may also seek potential partners from Russia, Israel and Europe to co-develop avionics and weapon suites for its 4th-generation fighter aircraft.

Following the successful development of the J-10 fighter, Chengdu and its subordinated 611 Aircraft Design Institute began to work on an enlarged twin-engine version of the J-10 to compete with Shenyang’s J-12 project for the PLAAF’s 4th generation fighter programme. The new fighter, which was reportedly designated J-13, inherited the J-10’s canard delta design and resembles the Russian Mikoyan MiG MFI (Project 1.44) fifth-generation fighter demonstrator in many aspects. The J-13 design is less radical in terms of design and technology compared to the Shenyang J-12, and therefore may stand a better chance of becoming successful.

It was reported that Russian MAPO-MIG has been working with Chengdu since the late 1990s to develop a new generation fighter based on the J-10 design. The J-13 may be powered by two improved AL-41 turbofan engines with thrust-vectoring nozzles and possibly supersonic cruise capability too, giving a maximum take-off weight of 20t. If this is proven to be true, the J-13 will be a high-performance heavyweight fighter superior to the European EF-2000 Typhoon and French Rafale, though it may not be as capable as the F/A-22 Raptor

Whats ur stance on this guys? 🙂 the AL41 is already developed ?

As far as I can make out Indian indiginous development programs often lack focus leading to drift and delays.

Local ship building seems to be working out better but even then they do use a great deal of foreign input.

Another very serious problem is the the defence dealers gets huge bucks for sourcing foreign stuffs… so you see even if arjun is good they wnt induct it in large numbers 🙁 . doesnt this demotivate the scientists?

I agree with sens here….. there is something called pride and stuffs… nomatter whatever happene if i was a japanese i wudnt even liked the way japan is heading.

do u guys think pakistani ppl will ever feel good if indo-pakistan ties up……

history repeats itself somehow… and i feel japanese shud design high tech weapons of their own.
and personally i’m amazed by japanese electronical skills… and their way of presenting stuffs.they have money + labour, they lack inspiration and the “get your ass up” thing.

I dont think he’ll fly .. flying any new ac means a bit training isnt it?
he might as well share a seat and have a ride like our president did.

and i seriously dont think IAF would be too keen to tell him all about the MKI..noone pracically does tht.
