I reckon it’s a Curtiss AH-1 as it looks like a Hydro ski one from the photo.
AH-1 is a A-1 but with hydroski mods. The Triad was an amphibian.

Ok Dakota2…………
Ah bu88er…..you’re right…!!!
Just had another look. The rudder is too square.More of a Curtiss product.
I’ll go along with Dakota2 on the BF2C-1.
Last of the biplanes fighters for the US Navy and featured retractable undercart into the fuselage like the Grumman products.
Beautiful aircraft and would be nice to see one fly again..!!Alrighties…will keep researching the Douglas one though..
TNZ

Take Note Sir……………
They run out of steam at anything over 55 mph. All noise and no go.
OK EN830,
Please take note that my 70 Stang has a rather nice rebuild super mod 451 the carbs are inducted into a twos tage blower system not much out their can keep up with her in a flat out race plus she takes the corners rather nice be that its a metal not those plastic things that are in vog now adays.
Any way i don’t think Uk will allow me to bring it over rules and regs thing. plus I would have to bring over my special fuel mix He He Ha rolling hands now 😮
Cheers Crazymainer
Off to cause more death and destruction see you all this evening 😮
OK Then I’ll
OK Lads and Lass,
I’ll just have to bring over my 70 Boss Stang with the rebuild 451 and duel polly suspen. this was build for road racing here in New England we have this little race call top of Mt. Washington its a time trail type race from the bottom of Mt.Washington to the top and lets say their are some rather interesting corners :diablo: .
Now thats some fun racen hey Mark9 I think your little Yellow thing might do very well it the mini-class, as for Moggy and your corners no problem the Stang can kep up with the best of your Euro stuff remember I can out pace you in the straight aways so even if I have to let off in some corners I still can keep ahead in the over-all. Hey when i come over maybe we all could have a nice road race i’ll show Yank Style :p :dev2: 😮 😀
Cheers Crazymainer
