Here is some more photos for you guys, the day I visit they where getting ready for the annual Car Auction so they had move 7 of their aircraft into storage.

The Question about the aircraft behind the Bleriot is indeed a Curtis JH-4 with a OX-4

Is the Dep racer an ex-Jean Salis machine? The French reg on the tail looks familiar and isn’t contemporary for its period.

Hi James,

I’m not 100% sure but I beleive that this was build for the museum by someone in France in the early 70s they have had it as long as I’ve been going to the Museum. My first time at OHTM was in 1977 and they used to fast taxi it.

I’ll formate some more pics and post them later.

First let me enlighting you that here in the USA in order to call up the National Guard each State has to give the ok before they cut he orders second you must get all the personal together these means they need to have their jobs covered the equipment ready. yea its easy to send down small special groups but to call up 7000 Guards Folks need three to four days of planning. As you answer your own question yes its US Law Congress needs to sign an emegancey powers act and then the pres. sign it. Everyone is giving Mr. Bush a hard time but it seems no one has said anything about Congress who had to be order back into session by Mr. Bush it seems the Leadership didn’t want to come back from their Vacation while Mr. Bush came back from his four days earlier

As for Kanye West he has no right to open his mouth since he has never done anything for the so-called Poor Black People.

Well I must say that I’m truly surprised by the way the american government handled this one. I mean seriously, the american armed forces are having such resources that it should be a piece of cake to send in a couple of hundred of helicopters / trucks / buses / whatever to evacuate people.

You have no clue what your talking about do you? You can’t just say we are calling up the Army or Air force and send downt he Helos it just doesn’t work that way. Besides if your going to send down Hundreds or Helicopters/trucks/buses ect. ect. then you need to have a plan in place and have supplys ready. And for the record no the US Arm Forces don’t have all those resources you think they do.

As for the Jack*ss Kanye West he needs to keep his mouth shut. As for excepting other Countrys help well thats nice but really folks what can the rest of the World Provide that we don’t already have here in the US. Me thinks this is a few Countrys Politiniuons trying to show the rest of the world that see we do like those damn Yanks.
