More abuse? AIB- what happened to trying to be the “voice of reason”??

What proof do any of you have the mod you attack has actually done any of these things? See, it’s called innocent until proven guilty. And none of you have proven anything.

Mods- this is another abusive attack on Flood and should be deleted. Please. What has Flood done that he deserves this?

    -Erin

    Hey Erin,

You want to know what David(Flood) has done simple he attacked Steve over on the GD board calling all of us Yanks a bunch of Jerks ect. ect. if you would like I could repost the whole thread since I saved it in my hard drive. I step in and defend Steve and what did I get out of it for my troubles I got Booted and what happen to David nothing he should have been booted also like I’ve said in the past there seems to be a double standerd when it comes to certain folks on this board, untill that problem is addresed by those in charge then we are going to still have this on going problem.

So Erin you need to take a step back and look at the other side of the picture and not the one you see threw your rose color glasses.

I’m guessing this is going to get me into some more hot water but hey whats new someone needs to call a spad a spad.

Ok This should settle this discussion right now in Sundays local fishrag their was a photo from Ap the Kicker stated the following.

US Navy Cmdr. Thomas Graves, dressed in period uniform, salutes the city of Boston after taking over as commander of the USS Constition on Saturday, Graves is the 69th commander of Old Ironsides, which earned the nickname in a battle with a British frigate during the War Of 1812. The 207-year-old warship is the oldest commissioned ship afloat in the world.

So there you have it folks it is Old Ironside ahnds down.

    With all do respect Ja,

The US Navy would send in at least 6 CVN Carrier Battle groups if China even try to take back Tawian, also we would attack from the Korea and over the Pole and from japan they would never stand a chance.

Hello Craizymainer. What a noble project.

Might it be worthwhile linking up with the FAA museum to let them know of your thoughts and to ask for ideas? You may even be able to generate some sort of funding that way. In addition, the War Graves Commission here in the UK may be able to help as they are responsible for the upkeep of the resting places of UK armed forces personnel who dies overseas.

I’m sure they would be thrilled of your intentions. I’ll have a Google and see if I can find you a link.

    Regards,

    Thank You,

I will send them a e-mail tonight, it looks like we are going to try to make it down sometime in mid-aug, as for a quick side-note I just learned that the town I live in Portalnd has a grave of RN Caption who was killed in action during the War of 1812 I’ve talked to the local historian who has promise to take me out and have a look see.

    Cheers

I agree – the US soccer team has come a long way in a (comparatively) short time, and they can provide serious opposition for any other nation these days.

Most major European clubs are already facing long seasons and crowded fixture lists as it is, crazymainer, so I think that matches against MSL sides will be few and far between and restricted to pre-season and winter break friendlies for some years to come.

Given that the Champions’ League is a European club competition I don’t think there’s any chance at all of MSL teams taking part, to be honest.

Anyway – there’s a US-owned club in the Champions’ League this season, so that’ll just have to do for now. 😀

    Grey Area,

So here is a question why not expain the Champions to include all Leagues Champs, MSL, Mexico, Central America ect ect I would think the Pay Off $$$$ would be greater and beside then we would really see who is the Champion among Champions could do it in a round robin type thing.

As for US Owned team in Champion yep and it looks like maybe another by what I’ve been reading 😮

    Ok Folks,

Lets see if I can settle Old Iron Side debate once for all,

First it is a COMMISION SHIP IN THE UNITED STARES NAVY it has an active duty crew along with Reserve Folks, she is taken out under her own powre at least once a year on the 4th of July. I had the chance to see her under full sails a few years back when we did the fly over of her with 12 Warbirds what an increalbe site.

Now as for the USS Arizonia she is still carried as active FDR signed an exective policy stating this in 1943.

As for all other former US Navy ships they are still owned by the US Navy that is part of the deal that citys who get Naval Ships for display they are carried under the Navl History Centers list of loan artifacts. Its a Federal Law that all US Naval Ships must be either retired then scraped or if put on display the Navy retands ownership.

Close, crazymainer. Tell you what, why not let FIFA explain it? 😀

What could be simpler, eh? :diablo:

    Thanks Grey Area,

So do you really think we have a chance I know we have come a long way but I don’t see any of the European teams setting up matchs with us, yea we get ManU and Chelse to come over and play are National and MSL teams but that can’t be compair to the World Cup type teams.

Also speaking of are MSL Teams I would like to see them play in the Champions League just to really see how far we have come 😀

Hi, I’ve been having a clearout of old aviation books I’ve collected over the years and I have one called ‘Beyond the Horizons – The Lockheed Story’ It is Hardback and 500+pages in immaculate condition,

If anyone would like it free of charge then they may have it. All I ask is that my postage is covered (heavy book-looking at 4-5 pounds) and perhaps make a small donation to the Steve Young collection being made by Snapper or perhaps a charity.

    Best Regards, Steve

    Hi Steve,

I would live to have the book if you haven’t got a responce yet e-mail me at b25j@maine.rr.com.

    Thanks
