    my god what are the guys at the academy doing to the old girl!! Hope her control surfaces are still working could come in handy for my principles of flight work!

    What are the differences in security issues between someone looking for work experience and someone looking for an actual job…?

    Are we saying future airport and airline employment will only come from the friends and relatives of established employees ?

    Not at all i was offered this chance by a freind of the family who knew i wanted to work in industry and of course i took it.

    I am pursueing employment the proper way at the moment infact yesterday i had an interview with Swissport.

    You will be very lucky for any airline to take you on for work experience. There are a load of security issues and it also depends on your age.

    I have done a days work experience with British airways at newcastle but i organised this through a family freind.

    What college course you doing ? Im in the second year of an airline and airport operations course at Newcastle college.

    Good chance the Germans were over could have been doing a number of things:

    Tanker training.
    Useing the ranges.
    Navigation training.

    And the Jags are airborne just about every day flying all over the UK keeping them selves in active state right up until they retire.

    Manchester proberly biggest airport outside of london in the UK and has plenty of stand space during the day.

    Im sorry i just dont see any of this happening for at least 5 years. The American Army is already overstretched as it is. And i dont think Iran will be a country the US can just bomb till they surrender.

    Vc10 and the 707 both the best looking in my opinion. Infact passengers with BOAC and BA preffered the VC-10!!

    Newcastles G-CELA does a run to Stanstead every night of the week.

    Shes a quick change 737 so she just gets her seats taken out and cargo nets put in.

    Arrivals lounge!! whats one of those?? we dont have that in NCL, got 10 seats around a pillar but no lounge…….how posh:)
