My contribution to the Biggin Thread, I will post some more later but I’ve got around 700 to go through!
Absolutely first class show in all respects, The traffic is always a problem here, I waited until 7pm before I left but it still took me 35 mins to get away from the lanes surrounding the airfield.

Andrew O,

Thanks Tempest Nut.
Rumours suggest they arrived around 7pm, the weather by that stage was perfect here at Kenley, 5mins flying time from Biggin.

I gave up around 4.30. The low cloud and rain seemed to be stuck over the airfield. I will be back tomorrow as I’m determined to get the some shots of the Dornier with air under its wheels.
Typically by 6pm the weather had cleared.

Lets hope the Historic Flight can now look forward to a bright future of operations after the tragic and frustating past few years.

[QUOTE=merlin70] I think we’ll have to spread us Forumites along the crowd line.
Good idea Merlin 70. Its hard to get different shots at OW without going to the extremes of the flightline, but then you miss the aircraft banking around the corner.
I try to vary where I stand from show to show, although I can still end up a few yards away from another forumite. At the end of the day its very difficult to fault OW, its relatively easy to get decent photographs from almost anywhere on the aerodrome, unlike the majority of other airshow venues. Long may OW be free of hospitality tents and other flightline clutter.

Thanks Robbo,
I was too tired for a curry I had a very late night on the friday, feared I might fall asleep on M25!

Final couple for now, I may post some more later.

Becka,
I dont think I’ll be able to make it. I meant to be going to Biggin all weekend but if the weather is terrible I will try to make it if thats OK.

Superb, love the Tigercat shots. Good to see Grumpy, I thought she was leaving these shores ?
I did hear that the owner Paul Allen may keep some of his aircraft in Europe, lets hope Grumpy is one of them. The crew certainly seem to be having a lot of fun with it at the moment.

Thanks Propstrike, Motf, Mark 12.
I just wish all the aerial subjects I photograph were as cooperative as the ‘Cat Duo’.
