it looks good but I hope they didnt damage the s6b or the bluebirds.
I think the people at Goodwood would have taken extreme care with all these priceless exhibits, from what I heard to day the big issue was the bad weather earlier in the week.
Note the retaining clamps on the S 6B.

Seen at Goodwood today.
A spectacular sculpture that featured theSouthampton Hall Aviation Museum (Solent Sky) S 6B along with Malcolm Campbells original RR R enginged Bluebird and his R engined WSR boat!

After trawling through the web the only shot I could find of the press flypast at Goodwood was this from a Rolls Royce page.
Note the Southampton S6B up on the Sculpture.

Thanks Flood,
What year was number 6 released.

Flood, would you be able to post the entry in Wrecks and Relics no 6. regarding the Proctuka, as I am missing both 6 and seven, and the aircraft does not seem to be in no.8.
Thanks

I have a Nikon D100 and had a very similar problem last year. The D100s slowest ASA setting is 200, in very bright conditions it tended to over expose the shots. The solution was to buy a polarising or Neutral density filter which helps reduce the amount of light availiable.
Why Nikon opted for 200 ASA heaven knows.

After many years of watching the film on the small screen, I finally saw the ‘Battle Of Britain’ as it should be seen. Forget the DVD get up to Leicester Square tomorrow morning, it could be a very long time before the film is shown again on a screen of this size.
There’s only one word for it Awesome.
PS. Never noticed until today. The contrail of a high flying jet during the ‘Battle of the Air’ 🙂 sequence.
The BoB film will be show at the Prince Charles cinema, 7 Leicester Square Place.

Thanks everyone for contributing to this thread.
Here’s a photo of the Proctuka’s replacements.
This photo was taken by Jack Morton who built and flew the models for the film, most of the RC flying was undertaken in Malta during 1968.

Welcolme ShadowMan,
Thanks for posting those great Pics, with the piston types try slowing the shutter speeds back to 1/250sec for flying shots and 1/60-1/125 for taxying shots.

A further batch of LF363 photos, the pose of the aircraft is very reminiscent of an accident that occured during the filming of the Battle Of Britain.

Great Pics Airshoworguk,
The pictures somewhat flatter the show, which seemed to lack content.
We should have atleast had a P 51, and a Dakota.
Here’s a few more photos.
