Almost as good as the original. Those minions are hilarious!

Be thankful you didn’t spend more seeing it in 3D, Jim!

Having said that, it was beautiful to look at, and quite an experience to watch in the cinema, but I think a lot of that would be lost on the small screen, just as it was with Avatar a few years back. Also, the story’s a bit predictable, but Sandy B’s always worth a watch.

Puss in Boots

Antonio Banderas plays the titular feline hero, while Salma Hayek plays his accomplice/love interest in a fairytale inspired adventure. Great fun – especially since there’s no annoying talking donkey in the mix!

Homeward Bound – The Incredible Journey

Not the best film for someone to watch after losing a beloved pet, but it’s decent enough.
