Well things seem to be operating to time this morning LBA. That must have been one hell of a scary experience.
Softlad – look forward to hearing what your other half thought about it all. If a member of the crew are scared then it has to be serious.
Apparently, someone on PPrune has the AIH brochure and its showing a based Spanair aircraft. It’ll be great if you could confirm mate.
Thanks. 🙂
Last night’s Las Palmas flight has just landed; 10 hours late.
No flights today so we should be back to normal when they return for the Larnaca flight on Wednesday. 🙂
Excellent LBA, thanks for the update! 🙂
If I remember right, Direct Holidays don’t show the Airline codes so we probably can’t be certain yet. Even if we have Spanair again, I’ll be happy. And a visit from your 762. Great news for Teesside!
I understand your concerns about BY at LBA; I wish they’d do more from there but obviously aren’t going to complain about us getting some decent services at last. We’ve been a long time in the wilderness. 🙂
Thanks again mate – I appreciate that. Anymore info, please send my way… 😎
Interesting that the Thomson 05 Brochure shows a Sunday MYT flight to Faro with based like timings. Could this mean that MYT will return next year.
Nearly right Preston….
MME-PMI-MME-BFS-MME-ALC-MME
The Palma flight has just returned, Alicante returns late this evening.
Official confirmation of this story now available on the Teesside Airport website:
Maybe even Pembo eh? 😉
Is that an invite or not….lol?
Keep me informed LBA…. 🙂
I agree LBA though strangely I think 2 Belfast flights are operating on a Saturday; WW5716 and WW5718. Certainly this is correct according to the arrivals board, but I only thought one flight a day was operating.
Got a feeling Ceefax may have been wrong…
Yes they are Speedbird, not sure when the job will be complete though. 🙂
Some may appear in a hybrid livery rather than be repainted, such as the 767-200s.
You’re right LBA, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the BFS route taken off; surely it can’t survive with those poor load factors. 🙁
I certainly think BY will reduce their 752s elsewhere; well they’re going to have to unless they acquire more.
It will be interesting to see what happens with LBA and NCL next year; will a BY base at MME have any effect? Hope not.
As for MYT, I can’t see them coming back unfortunately. I can’t see there been room enough for 2 based charter carriers at Teesside, much as I’d like it, but you never know.
Keep me informed LBA – particularly interested to see if anyone is operating a Larnaca flight next year! 🙂
Its 2005 the change Marauder, not 2004 unfortunately.
Can anyone confirm the rumours that a Cancun service may be established in 2005? As yet I can’t find out by whom?
I wonder if anyone has a Thomson brochure for next year, whether they could post the BY752’s schedule up here. 🙂
Thanks as ever.
An unfortunate nightmare for MYT at Leeds again!
Thanks Preston.
