Boeing are here to stay.

But things have changed and Boeing will no longer be allowed to dominate the commercial aviation market. They will have to adapt if they are going to regain market share, but things would have to go disasterously wrong for them to fail completely.

Airbus however should not be complacent.

I mentioned to my wife the other day that ‘wys’ called the DC-10 the ‘death-cruiser – 10’. My next flight is on one of these and Mrs Pembo330 doesn’t like flying at the best of times. I, and, wys are currently not very popular.

I for one though have no safety fears over flying this aircraft; as far as I am concerned the problems were back in the 70s and have been resolved since, though objectively, the problems in the 70s (for various reasons) has left a blemish on this wonderful aircraft.

Is the 7E7 narrow or wide bodied?

Is it replacing both the 757 and 767 or just one of this series?

Love the design by the way though whats the betting the finished product won’t look like that!

I personally like them. They make the aircraft look more elegant and modern. Seen a couple recently and they’re a big improvement IMO.

To be honest I can’t see Astraeus acquiring A330s yet; I just don’t think they or the market are ready for it.

I would hope I’m wrong though, the more A330s we have in UK skies the better.

Well today, Ceefax has just one flight arrival which suggests to me the last few weeks have been eroneous.

The flight today is BY320B; and I’m sure the second flight number that has appeared of late is 534.

Anyway, thanks for the offer, but I think I’ve answered my own question, or, rather the boys and girls who update Ceefax have.:)
