    Hi all

With regard to Keebird – what happened to the mooted recovery of what was left that was proposed on a few occasions – surely the remains would benefit some of the other restorations either happening or stored?

    Hi Robbo

I take you points on board

No good purpose is served going into the detail of who or to what issue, except to cause possible embarrasment. Suffice to say I am more concerned about the principle here not the Person or persons.

Your discussion largely presupposes that people are fully aware of their actions and the consequences which I can tell you would not be the case in most instances of this type – it’s like a very bad case of tunnel vision that never goes away.

Anyway I have had a go here and I think we all had a good think which didn’t hurt………………

    Kindest regards

    Hi everybody

I put this request to reinstate this two weeks ago but MK12 has been elsewhere for that time – sorry if anybody gets confused

    Hi

I was only partly focusing on that point – it was more a general point stirred up by that issue – there is always an element of “contributry stupidity” in these matters but when you know the issues behind what is happening it’s a bit like watching a “Bear baiting” – people know it’s wrong but they are so facinated that they just stand and watch. If someone isn’t well is it not inappropriate, especially when the illness is manifestly self evident to contribute to that suffering. I guess thats why people all rush to car crashes…………….

    Hi Steve

I can’t find much in your post to disagree with.

However when it gets abusive on a personal level is where I would draw a line and I think thats what you are saying as well. Strong opinions are a plus but playing the issue rather than the person is the where to make a stand in my view.

    Hi Firebird

……You would be surprised at what happens down here that bores the odd member for the UK….

    Manonthefence ………..
They were all pissed and you deserved everything you got for letting a Yank and his entourage of syncophants and Clique of mates in your house……..

    Best Airshow ?

Don’t know about the best but a great little airshow is the biannual Caboolture airshow here near Brisbane – 100 plus aircraft “of interest” and some very rare hardware there is too!!

    Here is the webshots page

Hi Lancman – Mostly agreed but the point is that you would use this when a DVD doesn’t exist so a DVD is better than No DVD. It also has the advantage of the TV tuner so when you record a live to air program you miss out on the VHS all together with better quality and the new Digital tuner will produce footage pretty damn close to DVD quality.

    Hi Dave

I love you – VHS is fine – I can convert them if need be – I can send cash or a cheque – If anybody finds the DVDs so much the better but the VHS will do for now.

    Hi

Was Steves guest seat Zero/Zero rated – he seemed very preoccupied with “Hot seats” here.

And was he saying”I thought it would be a little bigger” in the photo at the bottom he looks so serious – Has the IRS finally caught up with him……….Regards

    Well

I’m not against Duxford but I think the way the buildings are redeveloped is a real shame and a mistake- this is all recycling of other posts but a lot more attention to sensative architecture and planning would fix what I see as failings – as James says it is one of the top 10 and will always be but why do we all have to aplaud rubbish passed off as architecture – just a bit more intelligence at the asthetic level would make it so much better and the odd bit of detail on the maintence level would help as well (I know it would cost money better spent on ?)

As for the workers I have nothing but the highest respect for them and most of the management for that matter – it is no easy task running such a museum.

    Hi Melve

A little caution is a good thing all the best for when it happens………………

Oh also congrats on the court case

“Nice of you to ask but I prefer girls.” Very pleased to hear you obviously beat the charges – Silly of you really – you don’t even look like a doctor.
