Why do we have to wait for the website to be updated. Why not just post the full list of BBMF dates here? Surely, it can’t be that enormous?

If I remember correctly.it says in the current LLA journal, that they receive circa 1000 requests for the flight each year, and, inevitably, not all get permission,so it gives you an idea how big the final list is.If I had a couple of days to do it,I would, but when you see the full list on the official website,I’m sure you’ll agree,it was worth the wait.
But the reason I started this thread, was to give people a chance to mark their calendars as soon as possible,in order to see this most beautiful spectacle.

flypasts at places on the way to and from main displays,

I can confirm that through personal experience.

A very busy operation, BBMF. Long may it continue to be that way.

    Here here.

I used to work for Exel, and deliver to that and Egremont from Sherburn-in-Elmet,near York.Used to take 3.5hours to get there, during the night.Great journey, but tiring.

Whitehaven,(I know the Kwik Save well!!!) and down the coast to Barrow,on the 26th only.Lancaster,Spitfire,Hurricane.

Funnily enough, the same day that PA474 is in Wakefield and Elvington,so you may need to ring me,to let me know they’re on their way!!!!!

Anyone have an idea why it is visiting two locations at Wakefield?

One is the Cathedral, which I guess might have something to do with the 60th anniversary, and the other,I think,is Horbury street fair, which,if it is,it’ll be a case of blink and you’ll miss her.Strangely, the local rag hasn’t made any announcement yet.

We also get the opportunity to have PA474 on the 2nd May,which,I’m guessing,is the charity shindig at Thornes Park, and this is another blink and you’ll miss her.

This happened last year at Thornes Park, when a Spitfire was flying past.

Although in my humble opinion, not as good as my motorsport swaree at Blyton in September last year…………. 😉

I honestly don’t know when the website will be updated.I should imagine any day now.

I did ask on here last week, and the dates were imminent, but I’ve received mine today, with the LLA AGM notification.

Looks like I have a personal choice on the 26th June.

Lancaster over Wakefield,at 2 locations,or Lancaster,Spitfire,Hurricane at Elvington. And as my car isn’t fast enough to keep up with both Lancaster sites,I’ll have to make a difficult decision.

    Mmmmm…………………

    Duxford, July 9 – 10th any info?

    On the 9th and 10th:Lancaster,Spitfire,Hurricane,Dakota.
Which makes my first comment about them all together, null and void.
Interesting to see that also on the 10th,Buckingham Palace gets a full showing as well.

do you have a full schedule?

    Yes.
