Hilarious thing is that China does Tianamen Square Massacre and US/Europe gets all high and mighty.

Saudi Arabia et al engages in many equally brutal repressions against Shias and they get all the toys in the world and the Saudi King gets to have lunch with Queen Elizabeth II.

Unlike Saudi Arabia, China is well over 9 million square kilometers not counting Taiwan and South Tibet. China is a major political opponent of America on the world stage, Saudi Arabia is not.

JF-17 had its origin in F-20 which was the basis of the original Super 7 project.

Weren’t the T-80s and Kamovs debt relief.

The T-80s were delivered in very small numbers (under 100?) and main tank is M1 Abrams derived K1.

I think SK bought some T-80 so Americans can figure out T-80 weaknesses? :confused:

I don’t think that works. Russia is enemy of America and SK is a pawn of America.

it is fair comparison because silent eagle is stealth lo version of f15 and pakfa is stealth lo variant of flanker.
they keep the same shape and many parts, but then add internal bay, some angles on the body, better avionic, same family of engine but improved version.
but difference is boieng likely can make machinery to mass produce silent eagle faster. for russia it is still learning steps.

Su-50 (program designation PAKFA, prototype designation T-50) is not a variant of Flanker like F-15SE is a variant of F-15.

Perhaps. This is F-16E Block 60 cockpit. Still not as advanced as J-10B cockpit.

What happens if China knocks out all the power plants in Taiwan? No more electricity to operate anything? :confused: Taiwan can also try to blow up the Three Gorges Dam, though it’s very far away.

Exactly. The redesigned production J-10A is so ugly that it was not until J-10B that J-10 is at last pleasing to the eye. :eagerness:

This is what J-10A would have been had the right sized engine been available.

J-10B cockpit (top) is shown below compared to the less advanced F-16I Sufa cockpit (middle) and JF-17 cockpit (bottom).

Finally ! An admission that the J-10 might not be that indigenous after all.

And just a comment, I think this thread is about South Korea, not China. So, please, get back on topic.

J-10 is not indigenous. J-10 is developed from Lavi from Israel due to close ties between China and Israel. It’s not a secret. SK is enemy of China. Everything about SK has to be related to China. :p Here’s another early model of J-10 in the early to mid 90s.

because only the Taiwanese are going to suffer during a prolonged conflict and the population in the PRC is totally fine with the its effects on their own economy and are willing to see their only child rushed off to war. yeah sure.

Taiwan is like 0.3% the size of China. How is it going to launch any attack on China? :stupid:

… and to admit it is quite a large fighter (for a single engined one) as can be seen in comparison to the Rafale !

This is because J-10 has a large big engine whereas Rafale has two small engines. It’s like F-18 is much smaller than F-15 even though it’s also twin engined.

Maybe or not baby 2004 ???

wiki says 2002 was renamed 2004. This means production is close. I think it goes to like 2005.

Obviously as Korea is part of the Chinese empire, so before they have not been integrated again, they are enemies of China and must not be given the world leading fighters of Chinese origin.

As a matter of fact, Korean or Goryeos as they call themselves, a Mongol tribe, once conquered China and ruled over the Han speaking subjects. :eagerness:
