Su-25 isn’t a copy of anything, its a ground attack aircraft. Its purpose is to be heavily armed and slower than a fighter jet. They only look just barely alike.

tvc is not needed. j20 is not built for airshow tricks. most new fighters in world do not use russian style tvc. f35, rafael, typhoon, gripen, j31, j20. even f22 does not use tvc in the way russian use.

when indians tried tvc against american f15 they got killed easily.
