Chinese fighter would be good for Serbia
it is cheaper and newer. mig29m or whatever it is called now is an upgrade of a 1970s design but j10 is a late 1990 design! over 20 year differences!!!!
also eventually j31 will be available and it will outclass everything in europe.
politically better too.. china can offer more money and assistance and china understand serbia feelings during serbian war the best.. chinese embassy is bombed too. russia like to say they are brothers but russian do not look like serbia and theyre involvement in the serbian war is more opportunist than real interest.
serbian look like italians but russians are kind of half european half mongolian like yelsin.
The same about J-31. It, too, is not a stealth jet. Just a copied MiG-29 with flattened nose, bay and canted tails.
flat nose, bay, canted tails is some of the things stealth jet has. su47 only has a bay, a curved but not s duct. su47 duct is more like the american f5.
Russian take on J-31.

russian engineers so bitter
FC-1
basic range :1800km
max range:3000km(with 3 drop tanks)

jf17 is really like gripen but cheaper and no us restrictions. problem for now is crap engines. will get better when chinese built ones is completed.
Indeed. I think they forgot themself they built Su-47. 🙁 So sad so sad.
I say go Stalin on Su-47 and not this n00bish jet! 😀
su47 is not a stealth jet. just a flanker with side intake, bay and reverse wings. the american f111 has a bay too but it is not stealth.
su47 did not go into production because it failed as a fighter because of its wings and 4th generation design. russia should have known it would not work when the americans stopped on x29.
Worth braving -20degC for :cool::
very similar to this idea

L-15 will have a bright future, maybe better than the other three
russian and italy trainers cannot fly supersonic and korean one can only be sold where americans let them and has only one engine. not safe for safety. L-15 has both supersonic and two engine ability.
look at k8.. sold to 13 countries. that is more than korean, italian and russian trainers you listed combined and almost as much as british hawx. L-15 will follow the way of k8!
it is different market fc1 is like future generation gripen but ftc2000 is for people who want f5 quality stuff
PAK-FA kills J-31(Or J-20 for that matter) easily. PAK-FA not only has a kinetic advantage over even the likes of an F-22, it has counter-stealth radar too.
it is good match. pakfa only have two bays. j31 has two bays but j31 will probably have lower signature because it is a full stealth design, not one based on the last generation. right now the j31 prototype uses old engines.
Interesting, it seems Marchkov is not at liberty to disclose the industry project name of the PAK-FA Stage 2 engine (Izd.129 as we know it), but instead calls it a “new 117”, this resulted in some confusion early last month. 30% weight saving and bench tests slated for 2014, lookin’ good! (for all series production machines).
Not sure the latest APA ‘analysis’ presents anything new per se, but here’s 3 pics that debunk this cartoon:

yf23 bottom flat
j20 bottom very flat
pakfa bottom similar to flanker
that is the difference between full stealth fighter and partial stealth fighter.
china wanted to make a real effort that is fully different from the last generation. russia wanted low risk so chose similar design to flanker.
I agree with TR-1 and Jonesy, plus compare to Soobrazitelny rather than Stereguschy
these kind of ships are not safe. poor fire control management. that is why one of them burn down. i feel sorry for the sailors who have to sail on it. that is why china is desperately trying to replace Hangzhou
For a cost-effective but capable air force for Vietnam:
Low-end cost effective multi-roll fighter: Replace the MiG-21s and Su-22s with the Gripen. Opt for some sort of mutual agreement with Sweden and Thailand to share training and spare parts in that region. Start out with leased Gripen C&Ds from Sweden to keep the integration swift and easy of an initial batch of pilots and mechanics. Vietnam could then opt for getting an asian production/assembly line of the Gripen E/F, and provide future potential operators with the Gripen E/F e.g. Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei, Philippines etc.
- 48 JAS Gripen 39E
High-end multi-roll strike fighter: Continue to use the Su-30MK2V to complement the Gripen with longer range, larger payload and to use the existing russian weapons already in use with the VPAF.
- 24 Su-30MK2V
High-end air superiority fighter: Continue to use the 15 Su-27SK/UBK in service, and with time, either look for a replacement, e.g. Su-35 or PAK-FA T-50 to continue the connections with Russia, or increase the number of Gripen 39E in use.
- 15 Air Superiority Fighters Su-27SK -> 15 Su-35BM/PAK-FA/more Gripen 39E
Advanced trainer & light attack aircraft: Either follow up on more Yak-130 orders to retire the older L-39, or convert/replace the L-39 into/with the L-159 and keep them as light attack aircraft and keep the 8 Yak-130 ordered to date as advanced lead in trainers.
- 20 Yak-130 / 12 L-159 and 8 Yak-130
AEW&C and MPA: Order Saab 2000AEW&C Erieye and 2000MPA Swordfish or Saab 340AEW&C Erieye and 340MPA Swordfish. They’re probably among the cheapest AEW&C on the market, yet effective. That would be another possible connection with the Thai air force which operates the 340AEW&C. The 2000MPA could be fitted with RBS15 anti-ship missiles and be yet another way for Vietnam to uphold its sovereignty from further Chinese threats. Future Gripens and MPA’s could also be fitted with smaller (and thus more) NSM’s.
- 3 Saab 2000AEW&C Erieye & 2 2000MPA / 3 Saab 340AEW&C & 2 340MPA
Transport aircraft: Replace the An-2 and partially the An-26 with a mix of more capable transport aircraft that could be capable of faster speeds, larger cargo load and air to air-refueling. Keep a limited number of An-26 and upgrade them with modern avionics like India is doing to their An-32 in Ukraine, let them be replaced by the IL-214 at a later stage. Complement the An-26 with a smaller number of KC-390, C-130, C-130J or A400M.
- 6 Modernized An-26 & 6 KC-390/C-130/C-130J/A400M
Vietnam is too poor to do those things.
iraq needs to take a good look at good alternatives unstead of relying on corrupted russian vendors or european computer graphics helicopters.

or

that is Chinese helicopter model! not russian or american. I do not think russia or america will even make it. just a model to show ideas. china will take action to make it reality.there is awacs version too.
056 goes on sea trials

China can now make stealth ships as best with other countries.
stealthier compare to this..
