Su-35 is well tested and….in service.
Not to mention it is not exactly a “brand new” design, so the comparison to J-10 is moot.

su35 is still testing it is even said so in the russian thread! still testing missile. There is even more f35 than su35 and f35 is not in service yet! maybe you do not understand production model that is going in a testing phase.

j10 is in service, there are over 200! of course j10 is being built because it is like the f16. when f35 is ready to go then f16 will begin stopping production and that will be the fate of j10 and j21.

j21 is for export and because china and russia are allies china can sell j21 to russia to replace mig29 and offer russia cheaper alternative to pakfa.

If rosoboronexport can’t get a legal guaranty from China on a Su-35S deal which include sales on 60+ figure, there will never ever be any Su-35S export to China.
Its as simple as that, end of story.

The first Vietnam’s 636 Submarine Kilo class diesel-electric will be launched at the shipyard Admiralteiskye (St Petersburg) in August this year – a source of information from the defense industry The Russian said this on Tuesday.

I dont think visibility is too important for 5G sensors and netcentric warfare.
5G fighter suppose to fly higher than all the fighters. so pilot has to look downward more often.
There alot of reduced RCS fighters like Rafale that dont have one piece canopy. why dont chinese implement single piece canopy in all other fighters beside J-20.

rafael is 4 gen aircraft. j20 and f22 is 5 gen aircraft that is why there is one piece. new Chinese fighter j19 is also one piece because it is for stealth reason

I see this thing as one of many twin engine, 5th gen medium weight fighters to be developed, like AMCA, ATD-X, KAI KFX, TFX (and now J-21/F-60). Funnily enough the most low profile (J-21’s existence would’ve been disregarded without a thought a few weeks ago) aircraft may well be the first to make its maiden flight, if the rumours about september turn out to be true.

they can just buy F-60 from China and not waste money those country will become in Chinese sphere anyway like good old days.
