In the air I use SkyDemon, which is a brilliant bit of kit.

    Moggy

Purely out of interest, what sort of information does that give you ?

I used to use a Tom Tom, but now prefer Garmin.

There are so many models available to chose from.

    Lovely pictures.

The last time I was at Colchester Zoo, I had to get home to see the world cup final. Netherlands v Argentina I seem to remember ?

Not a cheap place to go now, at £20 each during the summer.

There were a few extra aircraft in this morning. Mostly fog diversions from City airport I would guess ?

The only airframe that springs to mind was a Westland Whirlwind in a pub play area in Rettendon, Essex. The closed a few years ago, the chopper may have left even before then, but I haven’t a clue what happened to it.

You don’t see many “Pink” Whirlwinds 😀

    Pub is still empty

Thanks to Wyvernfan and Pagen01 for info on Castle Camps.
The only before and after pictures I have, are postcards from 1943 and pictures I took a few years ago.

My mother was stationed there and at Debden.

Just to add, and it may have already been mentioned ?

Photobucket have recently updated the way their website looks and works.

You can though, keep to the old version.

As Moggy says, you can alter the size of your pictures using PB, but I find it easier to alter them before uploading.

Lovely idea, as long as they keep it in nice condition.
