As long as the weather forecast is favourable, I may go myself.
Looks like being a nice day out.

I use a PC running Win7 and Firefox, via Plusnet

No problem here touch wood. Could have been problems in some areas with lines being underwater in flooded regions maybe ?

Not too many problems here, apart from when it’s a maintenance issue.

I wonder if it could be a cookie issue ?. As recently new regulations came out
about websites dumping cookies on your computer. They now have to tell
you that this may happen. If you have cookies blocked, this might slow things
down. I know it does on my local newspaper’s forum.

May also just be weight of traffic ?

It seems the object is hollow, so nothing on the reverse. It was found in a forest near Moselle.

There is a suggestion that it could be German WWI,
    Reserve Artillerie zu Fuss!
    Hohenzollernsches Fussartillerie Regiment 13

Could the 4.125 be the calibre of a weapon ?

    Good condition for WWI though.

Just caught the last bit of “A Town Like Alice”, and saw this aircraft.

……….The anti airport protest group have produced a leaflet advertising an up coming meeting about noise and giving advice on how to claim compensation for loss property value, the poster shows a screaming woman covering her ears as a British Airways 747 takes off!

I thought that bunch had given up ?

Thanks for the replies. I don’t have any info on the item apart from these
pictures unfortunately. I agree that the “R” doesn’t look quite right, so there
is a possibility that it may not be RAF related after all.
