    Cheers Steve.

    That’ll be great.
Also in the kit is a 3-prong towel rail antenna that, according to the kit’s instructions,is to be fitted on the starboard lower fuse alongside the H2S blister.
I can’t say I’ve ever seen a wartime Lanc picture with one of ’em fitted.

Another thing is would RF141 have “Rebecca” antennas fitted on the nose?

    It’s a start my friend.

I’d hazard a guess that she was H2S equipped and probably had paddle bladed propellers.

It’s just that I’d love to know for certain if possible.

The original Microsoft CFS is still good fun.Although it’s based on Fs98 technology, you still need your wits about you and your gunnery needs to be accurate.
It’s nice and easy on framerates and will run on virtually any modern computer(Windows’98,2000,Me,XP operating systems)

IL-2 is still awsome. The graphics are good and the a/c’s superb.Levels can be set from easy through to expert.
You really do need to think what you’re doing and your gunnery needs to be good.

    Here’s my trusty IL-2 ‘109

If you’ve never seen IL-2 in action then watch this clip on YouTube.
This is IL-2 pretty much at it’s best and this guy makes it look very easy!!!

I’ll keep an eye out for this one.
Is it for Fs9 or just FsX?

The Alphasim Sea Vixen is pretty fair too.

In “The Dirty Dozen”(pretty sure it is)there’s a Twin Beech that has the bomb load of a B52.

    It makes pass after pass.

If you mean the yellowish areas on the fuselage, its etch primer – not ‘gunge’ – its applied with a spray gun rather than a trowel.

    Correct Mark V.
And damned good stuff it is too.I use it at work on some of the off-shore pumps we do to give the 2K epoxy primer some “grip” on exotic metals.

    A Seafire 47…and a partridge in a pear tree.

Don’t forget VP441.I think Nelson ought to be persuaded to bring her over for a season.

What a sight her and SX336 would make.

Well done the PPS boys.Old ‘213 is a particular favorite of mine.

Based on owners requirements, ie his initials and using wartime pattern specs, correct paint chips and markings correct to wartime AP. I could have put the wartime codes on as per the original photograph but that is not what was wanted. The TL-B codes are to correct size, layout and colour for the 1944 time period. It is therefore as authentic as can be within the owners requirements.

How come our transatlantic cousins always have to have the initials on their otherwise authentically finished warbirds:rolleyes:  .

I suppose it’s like the trend for having a “private”plate on your car,but it’s better than pretending that “F986 SMI” stands for Fred Smith.

Oh well,to each his own I suppose.

Having said that it looks superb,so a big “well done” to the ARCo boys and thanks to HFL for the use of their wing jigs.

I’m looking forward to the BBMF’s Spit returning to the fold once you chaps have worked your magic on her.
    She’ll no doubt look fantastic.

I think you guys are right in saying it’s a nacelle.

My man originally thought it to be a tail unit, but the airofoil section looks too thick for a tailplane.

Cees your suggestion sound pretty plausible.

My man reckons the part is sitting outside the former commisary and he thought it to be the tail section from a B-25.

She was out at LLA2007 yesterday(Sunday),Al was flying her there.

Last year Clive Rowley was “at the wheel” and gave a superb display in her for his last flight at the LLA Member’s Day.

Fluffy(spadegrip introduced us by “your” Spit 16)please thank all the guys for a superb display.

The 7 ship was absolutely the best.It looked like the Dak had all the rest “on tow”.

A very big thanks to Al Pinner for letting Russ Alchorne loose with The Old Lady,he and her were definitely one for that run.
Also a big thanks to the Bomber Boys for their excellent and spirited display in ‘474.
The “dirty” pass won “The Biggest and Best Racket of the day trophy” from me.She sounded superb with plenty of revs and boost on with it all hanging out with The Merlin Crackle blareing in all it’s glory.

Give it the “gun” and hit the “I” key.

Is it the SimShed one or some lesser mortal’s production?
