The Tropical MkVs in Australia had later radio packs fiitted hence no aerial from mast to tail and no IFF from fuselage to tail.

No idea but did work a design in 3D..Which is on my dead laptop :(..Some aluminium plate and a drill press will make one.Off memory the starwheel is connected to the collar which turns the outer tubee.

Its a good feeling when you start putting some paint on a project even though you still have lots of work to do. Lets hope subsequent batches of paint match up!
At least the metal will be better protected from our cold and damp weather.

Hi Guys,
new panel acquired. Its from a RAAF CAC Winjeel. Condition as per the pic is as removed from its last airframe.:D

If we are talking the Museum of Army Flying at Middle Wallop and not the Australian version then the answer is yes.

Hope its sorted soon.Seeing the pics and teading the blurb on the web page I instantly thought it sounded very similar to Mikes workshop.Which is not the case.
