You should have seen the one in “When eight bells toll” – featuring in quite a sizeable section considering was a Royal Navy (schemed at least) Widgeon… Not one you see too often.

I have to say I think it should stay at Hendon but they should look at how they can make the most of this.

I agree with the posts though that say it seems to have lost its way.

I too have been going for many a year and remember the original hall without all the extensions. I used to like the themed areas e.g. Sidney Camm collection and the diaramas/models that gave an impression of the days gone. It doesn’t have that feel any more. Just a hap hazard collection of aircraft.

I appreciate that you have to rotate “stock” in order to keep the public coming back but it seems to be all too often you read of something being added or removed or shifted around. I think perhaps a major reshuffle once every 5 years would be sufficient.

The opening times for the Grahame White have been done to death on here but I have to agree that it is disgusting that this important part of the museum and history is treated as such.
