A classic b&w film of its time. Gruesome is played by Boris Karloff. A bank heist with a difference using a nerve gas that completely freezes people.
Remarkably watchable.

On a slightly more serious note – one of the guys here (new and young) instanly labelled them terrorists straight off. We pointed out to him that that is not necessarily the case.

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow
Well I was pleasantly surprised with this. I was not expecting it to be so good. The effects and style were enjoyable and the story quite good. Some nice comic moments too. I love the stylised 30’s appearance of the film and the whole feel. Nice comic book sort of feel too.
