Some of these are being used to create long lost locomotive types, ie the frames of a Hall and the boiler of an 8F are being used to create a County, similar projects will be to create a Grange and a Saint….

The County project has been controversial apparently in some circiles as the 8F being canabalised is the only surviving Doncaster built example.
It would appear that the railway world have sticklers too…!

High Fidelity
Based on the Nick Hornby book (which I’ve not read). It covers the love life of Rob (John Cusack) and his failures including the one he is going through…
It was watchable and had some good moments. Quite watchable.

Four Play
Hummm – a “comedy” Colin Firth, Mike Binder, Mariel Henmingway and Irene Jacob…
Following the four main characters and their relationships between them all. It was ok but I think one you’d have to be in the mood for.
Passable but not today for me…

The man doesn’t seem remotely bothered by the plane! Suppose he’s used to if, if I had a job like that I’d never get anything done…

You do get a bit blase about them. Take it from me – I may not work at a commercial airport but playing dodge the jet makes for a fun day. More often than not they become just noisy things that get in the way from time to time though.
The visitors make it fun here for me.

Seven Rated: 18
The seven deadly sins personified. Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt. Detective Somerset (Freeman) is on his last 6 days before retirement and Mills (Pitt) is his temporary new partner recently assigned to the unit. Their styles clash noticeably with Mills being very agressive in his attitude. They investigate the case of a large man dead in a bowl of food who has been bound and forced to eat. The next day another crime – another body. Somerset is given some evidence from the first case that leads to a discovery of a connection between the two apparently dissimilar cases.
The plot builds to its climax well with the man behind it all (played by Kevin Spacey) bargains with the detectives…

Scissors
Early Sharon Stone film. She plays a woman (obviously) who has emotional problems and is seeing a shrink. She suffers an attempted rape in a lift on the way home and befrends a neighbour who lives with his wheelchair bound brother (both played by the same chap). Her paranoia mounts seeing the “rapist” in various places. Is she loosing her mind or is someone lending a hand? She is offered a temping job at an address in town but all is not what it seems…
Not an earth shattering film but quite watchable.
