A quick trawl through G-INFO confirms no UK civilian Srs.2’s
That is truly a work of art….
Nice shots. Brings back memories….
I can see changes since I was there in October 2010. (https://www.flickr.com/photos/the-legacy-collection/sets/72157638693449014/)
Shame as it is a great museum.
Lovely job indeed and a worthy cause helped too.
Hi TO,
I was just asking out of idle curiosity rather than with a view to make an offer I’m afraid – if I started buying things like that, that tweak my curiousity I will be divorced before I am married and homeless to boot. 😀
Morning TO,
Just looking through the museum’s website and wondered what happened to the artic trailer mounting mentioned just out of curiosity. Also what was it mounted to?

PIGY is still owned by Invicta Aviation (The logo is still on her) and the Bronco plot was Tony De Bruyn.
I used to work on the base too and find myself once again living close by. Some buildings have been demolished and houses being built but these are Southof Camp Road and included my old office.
There is a heritage centre being set up and have rescued various murals etc. They also do the odd tour too.https://www.facebook.com/rafuhhc?ref=ts&fref=ts
It was indeed sad and shocking news to hear of Ken’s passing. Bumped into him many times over the years at various places both originally in his Tiger then in the Jackeroo. A genuine enthusiast and supporter of vintage aviation.
Blue skies Ken, it was a privilege.
You can still make out the spot today…

Now all those Percivals would be gorgeous…
Almost certain it is tribute to G-AEKL…………
Planemike
It is indeed in tribute to G-AEKL and IIRC she is painted and finished in the same way only the H for an A being the difference.
Interesting to note the oil leak over the drop tank already…
View of the cockpit layout for you…
I’ve always liked them, failure or not. There is just something about them.
Wonder if you could convert one to a road going vehicle??
