GQ certainly made parachutes for the MoD and 152 could be their reference to model. The other number could actually be the contract number it was purchased under. Sorry not much help I know.
Sorry about that. Should be fixed now.
I wasn’t aware they weren’t showing on here too as my internet has been playing up today.
I have seen a lot of the calculation papers and some drawings of the British Aeronca aircraft series that were saved. They were passed on to a good home and I saw them “in-transit” as he had stopped to collect them. Apparently he was handed this box and asked “Of any interest to you?”!! How much stuff that had been squirreled away over the years has just been skipped because relatives just though it rubbish I wonder?
Not pretty and as mentioned – could have been much worse…
Anyone else notice the irony of one aircraft is G-AVEC which is French for “with”??
or a Lincoln cupola?

My pleasure.
I agree I hope it comes to fruition.
I wouldn’t mind a job there to be honest. Working airside at an airfield would be great again.

Here you go.
Won’t work today from my phone…
Looking at their website the other day I don’t recall seeing Reynard’s name attached to the company. I thought his bid was separate. I would check but can’t get on the site at the moment.
I remember it well – partly for getting sun-stroke and falling asleep during the fast jets but also for the variety and displays. A great show.
I still have all my photos from the event in print form.
The LFS thing is not something to do with a LORAN system is it?
Just a wild uneducated guess
I went in a shop today and they had a notice up stating they supported the 2 minutes silence and would mark it.
“Good for them” I thought until I read the line at the bottom of the notice…
“Sorry for any inconvenience” 😡
It’s a nice looking aircraft! Is it staying at Duxford?
No I believe she is destined for Bicester at this time.
I would be if still available please.
I admit to not reading all the posts but I am struck by the fact that this will surely mean to book a display act from them now will cost organisers more due to longer transit flights? Is that a flaw in their plan given the current financial climate?
