Of course this all ignores that any unilateral attack on Iranian facilities… whether they are civilian as the Iranians claim or military as the US and Israelis (alone) claim would be an act of war. Just following orders wasn’t an acceptable reason for German soldiers, why should it be OK for civilian workers in the Pentagon?

I’ll tell you why, because when you go to work at the Pentagon you sign a peice of paper that basically states that you will not reveal anything you see, read or hear under the pentaly of Death. Yes Treason is still a Death Case here in the States.

Ask your self this folks why are you all concerne about US Special Forces and CIA Operats in Iran during the Cold War we had Special Forces and CIA thru-out the Warsaw Pack Nations where was the Out Cry from the World then.

Lest face it folks you like the idea that we are in these place because it holds these rouge nations accountable when we do find informatiuon, lets face it the EU can’t come out on the Recourd and approve becasue of the Muslim Population in Europe but behind the doors you and I both know that they are sending Washington messages saying if you want go ahead but please keep us in the loop.

I ask my local Budwieser and Miller reps. the same question after you rave about it. Well they told me that the company that makes it doesn’t have a US only version and that you could order a Six Pack but anything over that you will have to pay some sort of Taxs on it.

So does anyone mail a Crazymainer a bottle just let me know howmuch I’m dying to try it plus it would be a nice Bottle for the Stores Collection 😀

still slightly amazed that our other carriers were as close as they were and were’nt discovered by Jap forces…maybe just a little luck on our part, like at Midway?

Hi Mark,

After the attack the Pearl Harbor task force where broken up into their own units. The Combined Carrier Fleet was only used for this one attack.

Second Carrier Division was the HMJS Soryu and Hiryu
Fifth Carrier Division was the HMJS Shokaku and Zuikaku
First Carrier Division was HMJS Akagi and Kaga

After the attack Fifth division was detach to help with the Formusa operations while Second Division was sent to Wake Island while the first Division proceed to Home Waters. The only carriers that the US Carriers might have come across would have been Fifth Division as they broke off and ran for Formosa on and about Dec.8.

USS Lexington CV-2 was 425 miles SE of Midway
USS Enterprise CV-6 was 200 W of Pearl Harbor
USS Horent CV-8 was in Norfolk
USS long Island CVE-1 in the Alantic
USS Ranger CV-4 Moored in Casco Bay
USS Yorktown CV-5 on its way to Pearl Harbor
USS Wasp CV-7 Ferrying Aircraft to England

Their you go Mark all the US Carriers and to answer your question we could have lost an Carrier since Both the Hornet and Wasp where on the East Coast also three Essex class carriers would have been avaible earlier they would have been the following,

USS Essex CV-9
USS YorktownII CV-10
USS Intrepid CV-11
USS HornetII CV-12

Escort carriers that would have been avaible in early 1942

USS Bogue CVE-9
USS Card CVE-11
USS Copahee CVE-12
USS Core CVE-13
