More!
Wonderful photos.
Delayed Legacy

Just finished “Delayed Legacy” the story of Conrad John Netting – amazing story of a son’s attempt to find out more about the death of his father (4th FG pilot) after discovering his father’s footlocker and wartime letters and also how the french were undertaking similiar research at the same time.
See amazon for more details: –
Thoroughly recomended.

I would get in touch with Paul Ford at Jasta Binks Aviation – has just built an amazing DR1 from plans and is just embarking on his 2nd WW1 project – would point you in the right direction and help you avoid some of the pitfalls.

Attached is a pic of Paul’s triplane taken by Damien Burke in an earlier thread.

One of two built by the Ghost squadron – I think this one had a terminal meeting with an electricity pylon at Withernsea – the other one was sold and has since not re-appeared at any shows.
For more info see http://www.ghostsquadron.co.uk/page8.html
Argueably some of the finest photos ever posted on this site – many thanks for posting.

I did Friends of TFC enclosure this year and Gold pass enclosure in 2007.
View and seating very much the same.
Only difference is there is more shelter in the event of bad weather in the Gold Pass tent + good toilets.
Also food and drink on tap (at additional cost) in the Gold Pass tent.
Hope that helps
Jason
One happy owner
To say he was one happy owner is a massive understatement.
Also fair to say a little surprised by its maneouvrability.
What a truly amazing achievement – come an awful long way since starting out in remote control aircraft about 15 years ago!

Jason
Credit should go to Tony Van Geffen and Paul Ford for the photos.
An incredible achievement by Paul and Sarah and I for one hope they build more WW1 aircraft soon!!
Best regards
Jason
Why not get in touch with Paul at http://www.jastabinksaviation.com/
He has just completed and flown a beautiful replica Fokker Dr 1 G-FOKK – based at Sywell.
Best regards
Jason
Some original parts were used but the majority of the aiframe is newly built.
The aircraft did feature a Malcom hood & a fin fillet later in its wartime career and the new Impatient Virgin is a combination of the wartime aircraft’s different guises.
Best regards
