Looks more like stills from a flight sim than anything I’ve seen so far of google earth.. Was the satelite parked on the hill just South of Duxford??
These are from Google Earth, the DX pic is the same as Papa Lima’s vertical pic.,only I have used the angle function as pimpernel describes.

I’ve just been playing with Google Earth & looked up Picton which I assume is the airfield near the town, unfortunately the resolution is not very high for this part of Canada.

I am sad enough to though, its 15 Hornets & could be exactly 50 years ago as the last flight of any Hornet was in May 1955.
Thanks for posting
……… is this the one at East Kirkby? A very powerful display I have always thought.
Yes I believe it is, saw it during the forum East Kirkby/BBMF visit earlier this year, I did wonder at the time why it isn’t being restored to fly seeing as it is relatively complete compared to other Spit restorations 😉
…………..What’s the situation on locating, collecting, restoring as well as finding any spare parts for restoration of aircraft turrets? ……………………Any first hand knowledge about?
..

In a previous thread (I don’t think it was about turrets, just deviated into ) in answer to where people had got there turret projects from, one of the answers was from a pit in Gloucestershire & that there were still more their ( or nearby in another pit).

F-102?
My guess to or a 106 , not sure what they had, except it was a pointy thing
As IAN ST mentioned , white control tower = post war does it not ?
Not Westcott, possibly Honeybourne ( J type roof just above left end of T2 ) & where pic would have been taken from is main road.
What does Nelson Ezell have? I know I photographed a Tempest or Typhoon one weekend at Breckenridge, forget which..

Also in hindsight maybe I should have called it the Historic Aviationers as there are the Wix’ers, it would be good to have them on it to as many on here are on there as well ( well that’s where everybody seems to go when this site is down 🙂 ) + any other forums ?
What does anybody think ?
