Yes I got the pm and I will not respond 😡 How is this Anti-Europe did you really read the story. You might want to go back and re-read it there are some real interesting comments being made by the French and German Politions.

Moggy you should know that yes Maine is part of the USA but we are the most Norhtern State in the lower 48s which makes us one of the most independent States in the Union all you have to do is look at some of the laws we have in-acted.

I’m not sure whats its called in the UK but on this side of the Pond its now called The Military Channel, its to bad Discovery Wings had the chance to do something no other Channel had done before.

I recall that when I was talking to folks from Collings Foundation they told me that some folks from Wings had talked to them about sending a Camera unit along with the Bomber Tour but that never happen.

Just think of all the cool programing that could have been done 🙁

Looks Folks,

Comes down to this The US Gov. isn’t going to allow Airbus to have any Tanker contracts to many hawks in Congress who have long memorys of are so-call allies support for the whole Iraq thing.

Right or wrong either boeing or Grumman are going to get the Tanker contract and as soon as the bill I spoke about in an earlier post gets out of Sub-Comm. makes it to full vote tehn it will be law. The Way I read it they are going to make it a US Code if this happens then end of subject.

So the last non US design we gonna have is the EH 101? What a stupid policy………I would love to see the EH 101 bought in MUCH greater numbers………the Marines should have it instead of the V-22 Deathtrap….

Nice statement so how did you come to this clonclusion yea their are some teethy problems but if I recall so was their problems with the following aircraft when they first enter service and they went on to become great buys.

P-51 Flutter in Wings( 12 fatats)
B-26 varoius problems(One a day in Tampa bay)
FB-111 Wing Fold(7 fatal)
F-14 Engine Control(First batch problems)
UH-1 Tail Boom Defects
B-52 Elevator Crack(several fatals)
P-3 Wing bolts ( Four fatals)

Ok Folks,

One little thing you all seem to be missing a bout three weeks ago in the House Sub-Comm. on Military spending a bill was introduce to make it illegal for the US Military to operated anything but US build and desing items.

It should be out of sub-comm. sometime in Aug and go to the House for a vote. So its either going to be a KC767 or KC777 for the USAF also I think you will see atleast 5 to 8 other Countrys picking the 767.

Hi Albert,

Here is some back ground on the B-25,

B-25J-35-NC ready for delivery in Aug 45 the war end sent to RFC Atlus OK. Stay at Atlus till late 45 then added to USAAF and flown to Pyote Tx. surplus in 58.

My back ground with this aircraft is I got to work on it when the late harry Doans owned it and kept it at New Smyrna Florida.

Ok then how about all those Aircraft that where shot at or down durning the whole Cold War peroid. If that isn’t a shooting War then what is?

Also Europe could have stop the whole Cold War before it started by stepping up when the Russians start to play there card in the first place.

So as i ask before now with two major No’s wil this be the end of the EU as we see it right now?

Also since some Nations Gov. did the actual vote do you think these nations People will demand a vote.
