So I heuss the next question is if NL and some other of the NATO Countrys vote No is it safe to say the the EU “COULD” dissolve.

I’ve always had the impression when I’ve visit Europe that alot of folks really don’t like the whole Super Country thing and wish to return back to seperat Countrys and Currancy.

Also what effect will the vote have on Her Chiracs political life, I mean is their a chance that he will be boot from the Pres. position.(One can only hope) Also if he is booted who would step in.

I was wondering what effect it will have on European Markets if the Euro goes the way of the Dodo Bird. I personally hate the Euro because I think it takes away the Make Up of each Country in Europe.

Also how will this out-come effect the UK and other larger EU Countrys.

I was talking with some of my European friends a few days back and they said if France vetos it that it could un-due the whole charter and it also might see the end of the Euro what say it to that my EU friends. Personally I would like to see the Euro go and each Country re-enstate their old money. I think it would help the World Economey.

Just to expaine on the whole Airbus vs Boeing Tanker debate.

Right now in the House Arms Sub-Comm. their is a bill being talk about that would stop the USAF from operating anything but US Build Aircraft for Tanker duties.

Call this a backlash to the whole Iraq thing where the EU didn’t help out at all this is a direct quote from this Comm. also over in the Sent. there Arms Over Site Comm. is also looking to put in a bill that will stop the US Military from using anything but US Build items.

I think you might see the 767 come on line as the next Tanker some time with-in 2 years. most of the KC-135Rs are long in the Tooth and need to be replaced. I know that the Maine Air Guard 135 have been logging alot of air time and have start to reach some of their Max Life time on certain airframe parts. Three of their aircraft had to be grounded while they did a complete tail Assambly rebuild due to time on the Rudders. With the on going Middle East Supply lines being Tank by East Coast tankers which are flying 14-18 Hour Missions at a pop this will speed up the turn over time for these aircraft to be retired. remember the main reason the 141 where retired was because of Desert Storm add tie to the main spar on the wing.
