    Hi JB,

Well lets see I think mine might be a little different then alot of folks,

1 First Night of LinebackerII with VA-96 going down town in a A-6B SAM Trolling.

2 First mission By the Navy to take out the Bridges at Toki Ri

3 On the ground on Sept. 23 1917 to see who did really shot down Vernen Voss

4 April 29, 1917 the day that Von Richthofen shot down four aircraft kills 49-52

    Hi All,

First Richard the Bad old days of the late 90s and early 2000s when folks won’t come because of infighting with varoius warbird groups have since change Warbirds of America and EAA in general have been trying for the last few years to have a large collection of Warbirds.

Yes if your going to be come to see alot of Warbirds doing profiles and Aerobatics then my I suggest you think about going to Geneseo or Yankee Air Musuem museums show. But if your a straigth Airplane Junkie then their is no place in the World where you will see this many types of aircraft.

I know that the Announcer thing has ben change alot over the past few years, as for the price remember EAA as to pay out a rather large Insurance policy for the show.

As for a list of what aircraft are comming to Oshkosh except for a select group of Warbirds that are invited EAA has know idea what is going to show up. I know alot of Warbird pilots here in the North East New England don’t decide till a month before Oshkosh. Speaking for myself when I went out to Oshkosh with my Moth I wouldn’t decide till two weeks before hand.

So its a little unfair to harp on EAA about what is going to be on display they are try to have aircraft for all walks of aviaition not just us Warbird folks.

Also their is one thing that no one has been talking about and that is the Seminary that EAA holds everything from building your own aircraft to industry question and answering sessions. They also try to have a special group of people every year that speak. Over the years I’ve had the chance to hear the Apollo/Gemini Astronuats, VF-17 Memebers ect.

It is the most sacred event we who love avaition or to put it in another way its are Wailing Wall or Meca.

    Cheers

    Hi All,

Thanks for all the sujesting now a few questions, does anyone know of the Fokker Es which was the better one also Flood I like the Siemen been doing some reading on it it looks to be a hot little machine.

I like the lines of the Albtrose V but not to wild on doing the steam Fusl parts.

So I’ve revised my ideas has to be German fabric covered non Flying Circus yes I like their colors but everyone does them. I was think of something either along the lines of the Med. or Eastern Front just to be different(Like we didn’t know I was already :p ) or if that can’t be done then something from the early days.

    Hi Mark,

Yes it did an alright job to try to follow the Midway action, I’m glas that the rerelease Dvd version has the deleted scene that where shot for TV and never for the big screen put back into the movie.

For those who say it on Tv the who;e section on Coral Sea with the 130 filling in as a Maya was cut from the VHS versions.

Also to note that some of the Midway stuff was shot at 69 Palms train facilty.

By the way “who was the last person to be award the VC.” presume you mean last RN or RCN as several have been awarded since 1945 to British and Commonwealth (including Gurkha) personnel – cheers – Allan

    Allan,

Correct I meant RCN. I had the chance to meet his wingman for that mission at NAS Brunswick during the 50th Anv. of NAS Brunswick open house.

Once again thanks guys for all the help.
