Hey Moggy,
Tom is reported be taking a price cut. Also I heard today he might be looking into buying a Spit.
Hi All,
Just found out a L-17 bellied land in Granbury Texas, pilot OK
Plane seems just to have bellie damage
Like I said April 30 was’nt a good day here in the States
Now I don’t want to be the Fly in the Onmint but according to various sorces their are Two BlackBirds held in Flight status held at Groom Lake.(Lets not Go to UFO stuff)
An for the SR-71 last flight there is an un-confirm report that in 2001 a SR did a flight over Afgan.
Did I read it right Moggy you want Eggbeaters are you sick did you eat something bad? You got to stay away from those Fish-N-Chips 😮
Moggy,
Warbugs is are cute term for the light aircraft PT-15, Stearmans Ect.
Hi All,
The cockpit recordings are from a BBC Doc. on the BoB Lanc. I read an interview with David who says the sound enginer who work on there mastering of MLOR Alb. brought these in when they could’nt get a good studio take.
As for the break-up the main reason was after the Wall gigs they wanted to put out a follow up to The Wall and do a big Stadium Tour well Roger was all for the Album but did’nt want to do any touring. If you remember right after Final Cut came out so did Davids second Solo Album most of this was to go onto the next PF album but Roger and David were’nt talking by this time.
Its funny Roger did most of the writing and singing on the Final Cut but it was Nick and David who did the mixing and final mastering  .
I myself like Dark Side and Wish You Were Here far better sounding albums.
The Spit flying over was a Late Summer Show in 1982, The Spit was one of the BoB planes comming from some outting. I remeber seeing a photo in Rolling Stones of the show with the Spit going over the top. Must have been a PF fan.
Steve,
Ian was a real know Aerobatic pilot here in the North America.
Melvyn,

Its my work and I check it every couple of hours.
He guys there are three flyable Hurricains here in North America
1 Neil Rose
2 David Prices old plane which just left for the East Coast
3 Lone Stars
plus their is two others that are underway Kermits and another person who I can’t remember maybe MarkV can.
Hey Mark,
I know that three of the Corsair that were going to come got weather and atleast two broke down with in a week of the Gathering. Lets hope if they can pull this one off that we can get atleast 10 their, Christ I think there ten in the South Western part of the States alone.
I’ll see if I can get my hands on the Corsair Video your looking for. Oh by the way did you know I’m working on a book on Corsair Operations with Foreign Countrys. I’ve got the chapter on the French and NZ done right now working on the Argt. section
Do you know Rob Mears, great sorce for stuff.
Hey Corsair,
Yes there is going to be another Corsair gathering. To be held at Dallas Vought facility, I’ll contact Mint Moore to get some more info. but the last time I talk to him he indictaed it would be sometime in the Fall.
Trumper, I think his Wife would kill me if I showed up with hundreds of fellow Warbird Fanatics. Its bad anothe she has to put up with both of us. But like I told her you marry a guy who flys and owns a Stearman then this is what you will get.
Is anyone going to Yankee Air Museum show, the largest gathering of TBM’s 17 confirmed and counting. 😮 😀
Flood,
Thats funny because we have a gentalmen from Maine who was a memeber of the Eagle Squadron Joined up Spring of 1940 posted MIA Fall of 1940 memeber of the all American Yank Squadron better know as the Eagle Squadron.
The BoB records show that the first Eagle Squadron were operational prier to the open German Ops in the summer of 40
Melvyn,
I’ll give the Museum a call tommorrow and see if I can get you the pics you need
Its a sham that Mariuce let her get this bad. A brief history on her she was build for Lufts. and expect for service as the West germans Air Force one hence the paint schem on the Nose section.
By looking at the #3 and #4 I’m guessing the Maine crew is up getting all the Yellow Tag items they robbed from the two Maine 1649s to get her flying. Also its nice to see that the Modified 1049 rudders stayed together for the flight.
OK let a Yank chime in here, First Tom does fly his Mustang he also owns a T-6 and a Stearmen.
Now for the Movie, what I read in one of the Trade Mags. is this going to be about members of the Eagle Squadron and they are going to use Spits and Hurri and 109s Tom has isested that they used the right aircraft. Their is even talk that he might fly one of the Spits.
S usual the Papers don’t get the whole story, if they printed the press release the right way then you all would have your Knickers in a pinch now would you :p 😀 😀
