    You Call that food………………

Be careful if you eat in Breckenridge…they like to ‘tell you’ your eating steak but it may very well be an armadillo someone just ran over! Old joke from Breckenridge airshow days.
    😀

    Hey Windsong,

Thats what you call that peice of meat and I question even if it was real meat and not someone shoe sole. 😮

I sure miss the old Breckenridge shows now that was some great times. Did you get to see Kermit, Howard and Bill in formation with the Mossie and two Spits. Some where I have the photos. i remmeber that we had some of those real bad Thunder Bumpers go thro but it made for some great Air to Air Stuff.

    Ok Guys,

Since everyone was so close here is what it is.

The plane is the Curtis A-1 Triad Hydroaeroplane. The photo is of the plane on its first official run for the Navy. This was the first plane that the US Navy ever had.

    Ok Guys,

So AIB is heading off to Midland for his first Real Airshow nothing like those things you all have on yourside of the Pond :p You know we get to use Explosives and things 😮

Anyway I can see Steve telling AIB now look Chap we are going to Texas home of W and they don’t take kindly to be told that “Thats Not Proper English” So what every you do don’t correct the locals with their speech. 😀

Also AIB is being informed that he can’t perform his World Renoun Moris Dance because the Local Unions will strike :p

So what other thing do you think Steve is telling AIB about going to Midland home of the Politically Correct CAF.

    Cheers Crazymainer

Where was the photo taken?. Sea Furies in the background by the look of it?

    Hi Oscar Duck,

If I was to Guess I would say Bagdad, Both of the Sea Furys appear to be Iraqie Aircraft, if not there then somewhere close in the Middle East.

Whiole we are on the subject has anyone check shipping manifest for cargo from Brisban arriving in the UK. If not I would be looking for since that is were the P-61s were headed to.

    Cheers Crazymainer

PS Did confirm it is an USA owner on the Black Widows who don’t know yet but give me sometime :dev2:

    What a Bad time……………..

    Glyn,

I agree, visitor/customer access in FL is great, especially near Orlando…

I hope the Lone Star Flight Museum in Galveston has good evacuation plans! They are very near the Gulf edge and backwater area.

I saw a lot of their aircraft before they were ever restored, when I lived down in Friendswood. Some were at Hobby Airport, a few were at Clover Field in FW.

I am from Miami, and luckily did not live there when Andrew hit. I just read online that as part of K Weeks’s museum bashing there, his B17 was “flown” 2Km by Andrew and wrecked… Amazing force to “fly a B17 2 KM!!!!”

NO thanks to hurricanes in Houston, even if I live about 80miles inland!!!!!

    Hi Guys,

I was one of the vol. who went down to help Kermits effort to pull stuff out of the mess. Not only had the 17 been pulled out of its tie downs and FLOWN 2km the B-23 was also planted in the same swamp.

As for the Pensacola I try the Musuem today and trhew lines are still down what I understand is 90% of the area is still with out phone service.

Eglin seems to have survived with moderate damage I should have a report soon since my little sister has to fly in some water to them on Wends. I gave her some marching orders to go check out the Musuem stuff.

I talked with David T. today and it was his replica 51 that got pick up and flip over he said he would send out another sometime next week.

    Cheers Crazymainer
